I designed this cover for the competition of the Gutenberg Gesellschaft Mainz. The purpose of the competition was to create/find a cover for the Gutenberg Jahrbuch 2014, a yearbook which is published annually. In the end my concept and design got chosen for their yearbook of 2014.
My intention was to show an endless length of paper as a medium or material which withstands through the ages. It is to be seen as a contrast to the constantly changing new media.
